Our training is designed to suit individual needs whether for experienced or complete beginner. Our intimate learning environment enables a more one to one learning experience for our students.
The salon is situated in the heart of the English countryside on the Staffordshire/Cheshire border. The salon is bright and modern with up to date equipment giving a pleasant fresh and clean environment in which to learn.
Tuition Only
Taster Day - The opportunity to do some bathing & drying and chat to the tutor and staff.
Pet Owner - Basic grooming techniques on your own dog ( Further tuition may be required)
1 Full Day for Groomers - For groomers to update and improve on styles & styling techniques.
4 Days for Groomers - For groomers to update and improve on styles & styling techniques - more in depth.
Pre Qualification Assessment -If required the tutor will assess a working groomer to establish if they are at the required qualification level.
Tuition Courses Including Qualification
Level 2 Dog Groomers Assistant (12 Day Course)Covers handling, health checking, preparation which includes brushing out, bathing, drying + basic clipper & scissor work. Practical & Theory Assessments for the qualification.
Level 2 Dog Groomers Assistant (20 Day Course)Tuition & qualification for the Level 2 as above plus trimming & styling working towards Level 3 standard.
Level 3 Dog Grooming Diploma (25 Day Course) -20 Days on-site practical tuition + 5 Days home studyFor those who are already Level 2 qualified. Covers trimming & styling to Level 3 qualification standard. Practical & theory assessments for the qualification.
Level 2 + Level 3 Dog Groomers Assistant & Diploma (40 Day Course) - 32 Days on-site practical tuition + 8 Days home study.Combined content of the 12 & 25 day courses.
Qualification Only
Level 2 Dog Groomers Assistant (2 Days) - For those wanting to gain the Level 2 Qualification who already have the training and experience to Level 2 standard.
Level 3 Dog Grooming Diploma (12 Days) -6 Days Practical Tuition + 6 Days Home StudyMust already have the Level 2 qualification and a minimum of 6 months full time grooming experience.
