EUKANUBA and DOG WORLD are staging a free ‘masterclass’ event for breeders, exhibitors, handlers and judges at the Kennel Club Building in Stoneleigh on Saturday February 26. The event will feature some of the top breeders and judges in the world, including Zena Thorn-Andrews, Michael Gadsby, Geoff Corish and Michael Coad.
The masterclass presentations will take place throughout the day in the East Hall including: 10.30am introduction by Andrew Brace, 11am grooming with Mich Dale, noon judging with Zena Thorn-Andrews, 2pm handling with Michael Gadsby, 3pm nutrition with Kellie Ceccarelli, and 4pm question time.
There will also be junior handling training sessions with Marina Scott and Helena Hutchings from 10am-4pm.
Visitors will also be able to browse the stands in the main hall where speakers and other experts such as Geoff Corish and Michael Coad will be on hand to offer advice and guidance on showing and breeding dogs.
Eukanuba breeder manager Mike Bloxsome said: “Our objective from staging this event is try to help ensure dog exhibitors gain more from their dog-showing experience.
“We are excited about the workshop which we believe is the first of its type in the world and would like to thank all the people who have kindly helped us in staging the first masterclass.”
